The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

We may be looking into alternatives to Domino Fax for iSeries. The goal
is to be able to receive faxes via our DID (Direct Inward Dialing) lines
via our Adtran unit into our Lotus Domino email. A strong secondary
mission will be to be able to send out faxes from our Notes.
Right now, if you send a fax to my fax number it will appear as an email
right into my Notes. The first page of the fax is directly visible and
the entire fax is an attachment.
If I send an email To: Joe Blow@912605551212@faxing a fax will be sent to
the fax number at 260-555-1212 and the cover letter will be addressed to
Joe Blow. I can also attach some common files such as Excel, Word and
others and it will expand those and print those on the fax also.
I have no need to be able to fax directly from our other i based
applications. We used to have that and realized that should be deprecated
into email. We told our customers and other trading partners to settle
for email or snail mail and got 100% acceptance. We've turned that
capability off months ago and removed the software from our systems.
I realize that I may not find a solution that is i based but may require
some legacy Windows based solution or some such thing. I will not,
however, be replicating everyone's email files to some such solution.
