Jerry,
Did he delete it using his client or some mobile device? I believe there
is a pop-up that gives you the ability to receive or not receive future
updates to that meeting. If he did the delete from a mobile device, he
may not have received that prompt.

Subject:
Deleting a meeting invitation
Does anyone know the default notes (R8.0.1) behavior if the recipient of a
meeting invitation simply deletes the invitation (from their inbox)
without any response whatsoever? My boss did this and it appears he (the
recipient) returned a decline response to the meeting organizer.
He did this already knowing the meeting was cancelled, but when it was
rescheduled he was no longer included in the chain of recipients.
Thanks!
Regards, Jerry
