So to followup; when you start the 8.5 servers, with your NAB still running
8.0.2, do you choose the option to upgrade the design of your names.nsf? Or
would you wait until you upgrade your NAB to 8.5 too?
Thanks

We have 30+ servers. Most are now running 8.5 now. The others are
running 8.0.2. These include:
- our NAB server
- the rest of our domino servers on our "primary" lpar until all cluster
mates run for a couple of weeks.
- any sametime servers because there is no compatible sametime version for
8.5 yet.
- our Domino Fax for iSeries server because that product isn't ready for
8.5 either.

Multi-versioning question

Hey,
We have 3 domino servers currently running 8.0.2
There is a mail server, a Sametime server and a Quickr server. We have
replication setup between the servers as Pull/Push with the mail server
being the main server.
I wanted to upgrade to Quickr 8.2 and it only runs on Domino 8.5.
I know it can be done to upgrade to 8.5 on one partition and keep the
others
at 8.0.2 but I would normally have thought your should upgrade your main
server first. As this is the one with the master copy of the address book.
So if I upgrade the Quickr server to 8.5 and the NAB upgrade takes place
what will happen to the mail server as it is running 8.0.2 or would I just
change the replication setting so it won't pull anything from the Quickr
server until the main server is at 8.5 too?
Thanks
Nathan
