The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

I've done it a couple ways, it's been a while however.
The version of SQL server I worked with perhaps 6-7 years ago had an addon
called DTS that would allow configuration of and connection to an ODBC
data source. We had two way updates running on a scheduled basis using
DTS. These updates were scheduled off hours so performance wasn't a
concern.
Another way was using JDBC, that was just in test mode so no idea what
performance would have been like in a production environment.

I realize that this probably isn't the right place to post this, so I am
hoping that someone can point me to the appropriate site/TechNote/etc.
We'd like to connect SQL Server and DB2 (on the iSeries). What is the best
way to move data between the two (ODBC, something else), especially when
looking at performance?
