This sounds a LOT like this: SPR# DCOE7FNNCV reports that documents moved
from one folder to another reappear in the original folder. For example, an
email message in the Inbox is moved to another folder in the mailfile, but
then reappears in the Inbox.

Do you have clustering? This is generally when we see this occurring with
8.0 and 8.0.1. Sounds to me like streaming cluster replication is active on
that server. It was supposed to have been disabled with 8.0.2, so you may
want to take a look at the above technote.

After upgrading our Domino server from 7.0.3 to 8.0.2 last night, several
users are reporting that very old emails (2 - 3 years old) are now
displaying in their inbox. Most believe that these were previously
deleted emails, but some are saying that they were old emails that they
had filed in folders. Has anyone experienced this issue or might know
what is causing it? (System i 520 V5R4).
