Time of ARCHIVE compact

The archive compact of NOTES02 (an i based server) to ARCHIVE1 on
NOTESARC1 (the dedicated Windows based server) took from 11:57 - 22:01
last week.
Now, the compact of NOTES02 to ARCHIVE1 on MAILTWO (an i based server
already serving numerous other Domino lpars) only takes from 11:57 -
13:40. A shaving of 8.4 hours as it now runs in only 16% of the time it
used to.

The users have noted that they used to be locked out for an hour or more
when opening up their archive email for index rebuilds. Now, the times of
index rebuilds are a minuscule fraction of their former time.

I am impressed.
