You can't "tell" a task to do anything when it is down. This command
should be run when the server is idle.

I need/want to do this while the server is down (and before starting my
8.0.1 upgrade on Friday). I keep getting dupe stats and dupe message
events in the DDM monitor, and the 'fix' ddm says to use it to issue the
tell event deldupstats/deldupmessages, but when I've done that the same
messages appear the next day so I'm hoping this will resolve the problem
(by running these commands while the server is down).
