It's a purchased service where a messaging 'clearinghouse' sits in between
your email servers and the world's email servers. There are several
companies that do this type of service, but the MessageLabs service can be
contracted through the IBM Messaging Security folks. Basically, your
external MX DNS records (where the world sends your email to) are pointed
towards the MessageLabs servers. MessageLabs then scans your mail and
filters out the junk before sending only the true email to your servers.
Additionally, you can point your outgoing email to MessageLabs as well.

Please respond to
Lotus Domino on
the iSeries /

Message Labs? Is that something that runs on the i5 or does it run on
another box in front of the i5?

In other words, does it run place of Trendmicro or in addtion toTM?
