Look in your notes.ini for a parameter Updaters=

If set Domino will start x # of updaters as defined by this parameter

Check your ServerTasks in your notes.ini for multiple copies of update.
Use option 9 on WRKDOMSVR to check the subsystem jobs. On each update job

use option 5, then option 1 to see if they really did start at roughly the

same time.
