I believe you should be able to create a link in your Domino server that
maps to wherever you want it to go. But I'm not sure why this second box
would have different security requirements than the original box.

Also, can't you transfer the entire Domino server to a new physical Windows
box without having to rebuild the Domino server? I'm still thinking that
the Windows security is going to have to be done, regardless...

------

FWIW, the old lnotes-l mailing list has been resurrected as a Yahoo! group.
It's OS-agnostic, but most of those on the list appear to be Windows-based
admins than not. If you are interested, I can see if I can dig up the
information - I don't have it at hand. Or you can probably search on Y!
Groups and find it just as fast. For anyone that remembers how the old
lnotes-l was a constant deluge of material, you might want to try it again
-- the transition from old to new was abrupt and a lot of former list
members didn't make the switch or are unable to access Yahoo! from work so
they could no longer participate. Whatever the cause, lnotes-l is a much
quieter list than it used to be, so don't be scared off by rumors of its
high traffic levels.

Please respond to

We have a domino server (windows) outside our firewall that replicates
with our iSeries server. It is running out of space, but we don't want
to go through adding all the security we put on our current server. Can
we set up a windows server with lots of disc and map it as a drive on our
current server? Is there a better way to add space without having to
rebuild our current box?

Also, is there a group like this for windows issues? TIA Bob
