That's a good one to know then, I wasn't aware of RCLLNK, either.
I forgot all about the save marking the damage on objects...

Good luck!
RCLLNK that's a new one on me. According to the help on it, if you've run
a RCLSTG this buys you nothing. But if you haven't run a RCLSTG, and
can't get the downtime, this is a good fit for IFS objects.

Re: Hard halt
You're right that the save marks the object as damaged. You can also run
RCLLNK to reclaim IFS objects.
By the way, I wanted to let everyone know that I've accepted a new job as
a
Lotus Consultant with Lotus911. You can use the email address I'm using
now
to contact me. (chrisDOTwhisonantATgmail.com)
I'm not sure how much System i stuff I'll get to do, but hope that we'll
get
some customers on the i box! I'll try to stay active on this list - you
guys
are great!

Did
you know that many of these objects do NOT
get marked as damaged until they next save? So, it has sometimes been
recommended run the save just prior to the RCLSTG to mark the objects as
damaged.
