Since you're at 6.5.3, you can utilize multi-versioning. You can load the
LICPGM while the two servers are still active. This will greatly reduce
the downtime on the 270. Just loading the 7.0.2 LICPGMs would take me
about 20 minutes on a 2-way 270 DSD box that's now been decommissioned!

After you've loaded the 7.0.2 LICPGM, you can end SERVER1 and do UPDDOMSVR
SERVER1 to 7.0.2. Then after it's updated you can start it up and then
take down SERVER2 and update it. The UPDDOMSVR will take about 5 minutes.

I actually remember tracking my times when 7.0.0 was released and I loaded
it on that 270:

"The upgrade from 6.5.4 went well. The RSTLICPGM took about 20 minutes
total and the UPDDOMSVR took 5 minutes. This is on a 2-way 270 Dedicated
Server for Domino. On my 4-way 820 iSeries it should only take about 7
minutes total judging from past upgrades!"

Domino R 7.0.2

Does anyone have an estimate as to how long it might take to upgrade a
Model 270 to Domino R 7.0.2 from R 6.5.3?
We have 2 Domino servers on the ISeries. Any other advice is welcome.
