IPL did not affect anything. The Toolbox JDBC trace seems to indicate that there are two authentication attempts, one with the user profile we have specified that has access to the data files, and then an authentication attempt by the QNOTES user, which has no authority to the data files in question. There is a security exception immediately following that authentication attempt. I could be heading down the wrong track on this but I'm digging into 1) the security exception to see what specific error is being generated, and 2) what changed to impact this... Could be related or totally unrelated, but image files that reside in the base html directory on the server stopped displaying sometime on Monday as well. Upon inspection, these images files had the owner of QSECOFR. Changing the owner to QNOTES made the images appear again in this same web application. Just grasping at straws here, but is there an exit program specified for DDM now? Check DSPNETA for "DDM request access" mine has no program specified and is just *OBJAUT. All of a sudden(or so it seems) DB2 stopped responding to the requests
from the JDBC driver with the following: 02/26/2007 16:34:22 HTTP JVM: java.sql.SQLException: The application
server rejected the connection. (General security error.) Nothing seemingly has changed on either the Domino side or the iSeries
side. 7.0.2 and v5r4 The connection uses the default RDBDIRE and has for years. I haven'truna trace yet but will do that shortly, I'm also going to IPL tonight
and
see what that does. Anyone else seen this or have any other
suggestions
