Few things,

Make sure the catalog.nsf, cldbdir.nsf, and the clubusy.nsf are clustered
properly on both servers
and ACLs are correct.

Also check the other replica stats

such as

  Replica.Docs.Added = 281155
  Replica.Docs.Deleted = 293434
  Replica.Docs.Updated = 1800535
  Replica.Failed = 586
  Replica.Successful = 515022

If you see a large percentage of replica.failed that could indicate a
network or other issue.

Turn on Debugging, by doing "set config LOG_REPLICATION=1"

it will dump all cluster replica events events look for errors.

Walter,

The queue depth is high, but I think it is because there is a deeper
issue. I can load more replicas, but not sure that is the ultimate
solution.

What "Range" paramater are you talking about? I am not very familiar with

the AS400 or is it a Notes server/INI setting?

Thanks for the info.

Brian

  Replica.Cluster.WorkQueueDepth = 543
  Replica.Cluster.WorkQueueDepth.Avg = 179

Clustering Performance Issues

All,

We recently clustered our AS400 Mail server with a Windows Server. It
was on 6.5.4 and is now on 7.0.2.

We are experiencing issues with Cluster replication. I only have about
1000 users and I have 3 cluster replicators running on each server.

The issue I have is that when a change is made on the windows server it
comes across to the AS400 within about 2 seconds. Going the opposite
direction from the AS400 to windows it can take over a couple minutes for
it to replicate. I have had a ticket open with Lotus for over 2 months
and no luck so far. We have done the following....

1) Made sure that the NICs and switch were set to 100/Full Duplex.
2) Made sure that compression was not turned on on the clustered port.
3) Applied all the latest PTFs. (we are on V5R3).

It is on the same network segment and switch so I am at a loss. I have
done clustering on 2 windows boxes before with several thousand users and
not had this issue so I am guessing it is something on the AS400 slowing
things down.

The Server Availability Index is really low....see below.

Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks

Brian

Also even though they are on the same network segment should I force from
the AS400 level a static route for the two to talk to each other. I have
all the appropriate INI settings for the clustering in place from a Domino

standpoint.

Thanks

Also, have you included the Windows Server's host name and IP address in
the local host table on the i5?
