I hate it when I get distracted and have to figure out where I was much, much later. This is one of those cases -- I looked at NETSTAT per Robert's suggestion below. The original IP address is listening on the correct port, but the new IP address is not. Some digging in the help implies that a second address would require a second HTTP process which would require a separate server partition - but it doesn't actually come out and say it in so many words. I'd rather not have a server partition just to answer these web requests, even if I could. Could I possibly use the same address and a second port to achieve the same purpose? I'm assuming that the HTTP thread will only respond to one port at a time... On the next screen hit F14 and then scroll down and look for port 80 in the Local Port column. Enter a 5 next to any jobs that are listening on port 80 and see if the IP address in question is actually listening on port 80 and able to respond. The IP address should be in the Local internet address field. It's more like the iSeries or the Domino server is configured to not allow HTTP from that network port. Is that possible? First thing to try is to ping either(both) the IP and DNS name to make sure the server is reachable from that network. If it was a security issue, you should be prompted by an authentication screen. The Domino server responds fine to anyone using a Notes client on either network and responds find to anyone using iNotes from the original network. However, anyone trying to access the server from the second network (just recently set up) fails with a "Web Page cannot be displayed" almost immediately. The speed of the response makes me think that it is finding the server and being rejected for security reasons (as opposed to not finding the server at all or finding the server but timing out due to the server being busy). Any suggestions for how to get the server to respond to either network? I did notice that the IP address for the new port is not present on the hosts table, but it is using the same name for both IP addresses, so I am concerned about putting the same server name into the hosts file twice. Is this a problem?
