That's what I was afraid of when I started reading about Unity/Domino integration today. We ran into the same situation with the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and steered clear of it because we don't want to add a 3rd Domino box (especially running Windows) just as a 'connection' to our mail server - that setup sucks. These are two 'heavy hitters' they're going to lose some business over if they can't provide solutions... (both iSeries and Domino business). rob@xxxxxxxxx Sent by: domino400-bounces To +chadb=wheeling-n Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 isshin.com@midran <domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx> ge.com cc Subject 06/01/2006 04:18 Re: Cisco Unified Messaging and PM Domino Please respond to Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 <domino400@midran ge.com> We have DUCS (Domino Unity Connection Services) running on a Windows Domino server for this. Have a small group of test people running their email on this server to test this. Theory is that they should not have their mail replicated to any other server. I forget why. I am not one of the test people as I won't put all my eggs in the window basket. Been talking to the highest levels of IBM System i management to get this on the i. Not getting anywhere fast. Cisco's Unity unified messaging is supposed to integrate with Lotus Domino. Is anyone out there using such a setup? If so, can it be done with purely iSeries based Domino servers? _______________________________________________ This is the Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 (Domino400) mailing list To post a message email: Domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/domino400 or email: Domino400-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/domino400. _____________________________________________________________________________ Scanned by IBM Email Security Management Services powered by MessageLabs.
