Is it confirmed if it's fixed or not? Chris Whisonant <Chris.Whisonant@ comporium.com> To Sent by: Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 domino400-bounces <domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx> +chadb=wheeling-n cc isshin.com@midran ge.com Subject Poor performance of Domino on iSeries during daylight savings 02/20/2006 01:03 time change PM Please respond to Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 <domino400@midran ge.com> IBM released a technote (#1224799). I added my feedback to it asking if it was also fixed in a 7.0.x or 6.5.5 codestream. If it is corrected, this is great to see!!! Problem You notice poor performance of a Lotus Domino server on iSeries during the daylight savings time change, for example, CPU usage spikes. Is there a way to change the system time without recycling the Domino server? Current recommendations for Domino running on iSeries are that you must end or recycle the Domino server during system time changes to avoid any performance impact. Solution This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# RWAH6HPQ8B and fixed in Domino 6.5.4 Fix Pack 3 (FP3). Refer to the Upgrade Central site for details on upgrading Notes/Domino. Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino Release 6.5.4 Fix Pack 3 (FP3) fix list (available at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus): Server SPR# RWAH6HPQ8B - This fix allows daylight savings time and standard time changes without recycling the Domino server.
