What are IDB*.DFT files? The Domino server uses temporary storage for the doc cache extended hash, which is used to store profile document control data. This temporary storage is saved on disk in files in the format IDB<number>.DTF in the Domino Data directory. Workload drives count. (where xxxxx represents five digits). Not knowing what they were and the fact that there wasn't a lot of them, I left them alone. I had posted here awhile back about them and concluded (from the response) that they were the result of certificate authority implentation. Now I see that there are now over 120 of these, all with today's date and a timestamp that is beyond the time when I applied a corporate wide desktop/security/mail policy to all my users - so I suspect these files are the result of my enabling of the policy. I haven't changed anything regarding certificate authority stuff. I did see a post here in the archives that 'dtf' stands for domino temporary file... Anyone with an update regarding these files and their purpose? And more importantly can I remove them?
