Hello Dennis,

Since we use the Domino C APIs to talk to the Domino databases I am
wondering if once we have opened a connection to the Domino servers it
leaves some sort of open connection to the Domino server.

Once our report monitor job ends, all connections from our software should
close from what I know, however the Domino C APIs have always been a
little picky.
On our iSeries Domino Server I always shut down with a *IMMED which resets
the subsystem and we have had no problems with this.

If you would like to have a discussion on this next week, please feel free
to contact me directly.

Regards,
Richard Schoen

subject: RJS Software - memory issues

Does anybody use RJS Software's Domino report generator?

We are still having memory issues after we run the software.

If we shut down Domino Controlled it does not clear the shared memory pool

If we shut down Domino Immediate it does clear the shared memory pool

What it does is take a print spool file, splits it into sections and
enters data into several dominio database.

Any idea what we can look at to see if RJS still has hooks into any
database's after in runs?

Thanks for any input.
Dennis
