creating new profiles has their windows account and their iSeries account 
the same.  The users can use different passwords if they want to though."

I agree here too. I'd settle for synchronizing the windows and iSeries to 
use the same user profile names. At least the users would 'know all the 
time' who they are (lol). OTOH, multiple password memory managment might 
be a good exercise in alzheimers prevention.
