I know this would be better posted on a different forum, but sin= ce it is
related to Domino (for me) I though I would ask our group.<b= r>
Has anyone figured out the new "Pattern" option on the V5= R3 SAV command?
I was hoping it would come in handy in situations like = this one.

Say, for the sake of saving time and/or tape space, you wanted to *= not*
backup full text indexes on your Domino databases. While this mi= ght
spark a discussion (I like to compare it to backing up access paths= or
not), it is simple enough to "omit /notes/data/*.ft" ex= cept that only
works for the data root. Another omit statement is req= uired for every
sub-folder with a full text index under the root.
I was hoping that the PATTERN command (new to V5R3, or maybe V5R2?)= would
help, but I took several stabs at it and did not have any luck.= Anyone
else figure this command out or come across an decent article o= r docs
   with examples?
