Rob, I think (if I understand it right) that SLB will need one IP for each 
set of servers needed for load balancing.

For instance, to load balance DWA:

SLB: 10.10.1.185
DWA Server #1: 10.10.1.186
DWA Server #2: 10.10.1.187

Then the SLB would be the IP that users access and it redirects them to 
the preferred DWA server. In my environment I want it to be in a failover 
mode so that everyone hits DWA#1 ALL the time unless that box is down.

Also, for IP Spraying/SLB I believe that both DWA Servers (for instance) 
have to be in the same class C subnet (10.10.1.xxx).

I will continue to let Notes handle my failovers for NRPC traffic and use 
the SLB-type mechanism for http/pop/etc... and hopefully for Sametime too.
