Chris is right.  The Administration Help assisted me in clustering. 
My systems were right next to each other and like most, I had multiple 
NIC's in my boxes and used one just for Cluster Replication.  I created a 
cross over cable and created a separate port for Cluster replication only. 
 This greatly help reduce the amount of network bandwidth utilization.

The biggest help for me when I set up my cluster early this year was the 
Administrator Help file. There is a great section on clustering. It's not 
really a big deal but you will want to make sure that ahead of time you 
have enabled the Enforce Consistent ACL in all of the DBs you will be 
replicating over. Also make sure that your new iSeries has access in the 
ACL (if you have LocalDomainServers in your ACLs, just put the new server 
in there).

But I believe all of that is covered in the help file! Have fun and let us
