I have a small clustered environment with two Domino 6.5.4 servers both running on a single iSeries V5R2 and only about 600 mail users. What happens is when someone fails over to the secondary clustered server, there unread marks are completely skewed. I then get calls from users asking why there read email is showing up as unread. They never even noticed that they have switched to another server which is really cool (and why I went to the clustered environment).............. but there email does not look the same (based on the unread marks). I guess my question is, has this been addressed in Domino 7? and why has this been overlooked for so long? Maybe it has already been addressed in a fix pack that I am not aware of? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
