You might also need to make sure you have the server set to accept the more
restrictive address list.  That is, if you block the official address to
jsmith@xxxxxxxxxxxxx but he's the only John or Smith in the address book,
messages attempted to john@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or smith@xxxxxxxxxxxxx could still
be delivered to him, depending on your configuration.

If you want the less restrictive addresses available for other users, you
could also add the names for jsmith to another account so that they are no
longer unique to the blocked user's account.  Then the messages will get
rejected with an error to the effect that the correct user could not be
determined by the server.

Assuming you've got that taken care of, I think Tom's given you what you
need -- I have a customer using it for the purpose you describe.
