My question would be is the install on the new XP machine a multi user install or a single user install? and if it was a multi user install did you put the old Lotus directory in the correct location (C:\Documents and Settings\user profile\Local Settings\Application Data)? We installed notes and using his id file from the old pc attempted to start notes. Since a location document didn't exist all that info had to be re-entered. Is there an easier way to migrate an existing user to a new pc? One suggestion (from the domino 6 forum) was to copy the lotus\notes\data directory and all it's contents to the new pc BEFORE installing notes. We tried that and it didn't work. My thought is to uninstall notes from the new pc, re-do the install and then copy the id file, names.nsf and maybe notes.ini from the old pc to the new one before starting notes. Comments anyone?
