I have done the same.  Barracuda has been painless for all the upgrades. I 
set it up so that so that it email's me when there is a firmware update.

Rich, have you upgraded your Cuda to the latest firmware? I was in the 2.x 

range and upgraded to 3.1.10 this weekend. It was painless on my Cuda 300. 

Just a heads-up in case you have been slow to upgrade like me - lots of 
new features.
