Re: Bouncing numerous Domino servers and memory issues, was Re: Time change -- DOMINO400

My understanding from an IBM engineer was that resources such shared 
memory were just being 'wasted' and not that they would cause problems 
with starting Domino again. I could be wrong. Of course if enough 
resources are wasted, eventually you will have trouble with something!

We're on a 270 DSD with 3 partitions on 6.5.2 on V5R2. Like I said, 
generally we probably won't have problems but in the past I have so I 
always just kill the tasks. But the other day our mail partition locked up 

and I had to finally end it *IMMED after about 10 minutes. It came back up 

fine, so that was promising.

I guess I just use it as a precaution to make sure I don't have memory 
issues come up later.
