This is what may have happened.

Let's say your have these IFS directories:
/PRIMARY/Notes/data/...
/SECONDARY/Notes/data/...
/QIBM/UserData/LOTUS/LOTUS_SERVERS

If you restored everything from the other iSeries you would have:
- restored the new /PRIMARY
- not touched the existing /SECONDARY
- clobbered the LOTUS_SERVERS file with what was on the other iSeries

Hopefully in the process the ownership of these IFS files and directories
didn't get changed from QNOTES also.

Any of that a possibility? Can you check that out?
This is how you check?
WRKLNK '/QIBM/UserData/LOTUS/LOTUS_SERVERS'
5 to view. What servers do you see?
9 to view authority. Is qnotes still the owner?

There is a technote somewhere on how to do this. We did consolidate a
couple of iSeries into one partition.

Neither appear. The customer had problems sending me the message.
Something about unable to resolve? I had them end the domino sub system
and try to restart, but was to no avail.

If you do a WRKDOMSVR what appears, original, restored, both, neither?

Customer restored primary domino server onto backup server, now have both
on servers on the backup box

One of my customers performed a restore of data from their primary AS400
to their backup box. During the restore, someone restored the primary
boxes Domino. Now the backup box has both servers in the IFS of Lotus.
Neither of the servers will boot. I believe that all I need to do is
delete the copy of the primary server's version of Domino off the bacup
box and then try to restart Domino. Before performing this action I
wanted to check if anyone has dealt with a similiar issue. This is the
first time that I have heard of this occuring

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
