I would think it would be as simple as assigning the directory holding your domino data to that external server. Not that I have any experience doing that though. I question whether the cost/gb is really that different on that machine. Why won't they buy more? Cost/GB? IBM's new drives hold a lot. Also, you can get used drives dirt cheap. We've went both ways. Frame full? An expansion unit is probably cheaper than one of those external units. Or just buy a new iSeries with 70gb drives. Their 400's being obsoleted so they can get in their new pet hardware? Change jobs or learn the new hardware.
