Re; upgrading from R5 to R6 on the AS/400? What kind of info do you need? Server upgrade instructions? The CD contains all of the info you need. R5 and R6 cannot exist on the same Logical OS/400 partition. You will need to create an LPAR on your Development iSerie system to have both R5 and R6. You could also build a cheap windows BOX to test application compatibility. etc. Sean Murphy IT Messaging/Domino Intranet Bed Bath & Beyond (908) 688-0888 ex 4496 domino400-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Sent by: domino400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 06/17/2004 01:00 PM Please respond to domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx To domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc Subject Domino400 Digest, Vol 2, Issue 92 Send Domino400 mailing list submissions to domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/domino400 or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to domino400-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx You can reach the person managing the list at domino400-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxx When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of Domino400 digest..." I am putting in the correct name of the other partition and actually tried putting in an ip address but it wouldn't take. I am trying to access the other partition with our production data. Some days, I feel lucky to have one server. My testing was all accomplished on a Win2K box, so it was still a leap of faith when we actually migrated. Someone else will have to weigh in on the particulars, but I'm under the impression that if you are on late enough code, you can use partitioning to coexist R5 and ND6 on the same server. Might require LPAR, but since I have no budget, I rarely pay attention to such options.
