Lucky you. Some days, I feel lucky to have one server. My testing was all
accomplished on a Win2K box, so it was still a leap of faith when we
actually migrated. Someone else will have to weigh in on the particulars,
but I'm under the impression that if you are on late enough code, you can
use partitioning to coexist R5 and ND6 on the same server. Might require
LPAR, but since I have no budget, I rarely pay attention to such options.

Thanks. My issue is that we have 2 production servers and one test server.
We would like to have R5 and R6 both on the test server for obvious reasons
but all the documentation I am reading says the this cannot be done.
Thanks,
Dave Bednarcik

We did it here based on the redbooks available at the time (it's been a
year) and had a very smooth transition -- though we did it very gradually
due to internal politics. Very, very, very gradually.

Does anyone have any information about upgrading from R5 to R6 on the
AS/400?
Thanks,
