Hi Rick, As I haven't really used this technique on this kind of form, I can't say why it's doing this. Could you put a window.blur call in the onload event of the refresh page? Would it help at all? What does the final html of the refresh page look like? /Peter rick.baird@steakn shake.com Sent by: To domino400-bounces domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx @midrange.com cc Subject 2004-06-04 20:39 Re: Session Time Out for browser app - it works! but with a quirk Please respond to Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 <domino400@midran ge.com> regarding this thread: http://archive.midrange.com/domino400/200405/msg00008.html where we discussed bypassing the session time out for large web pages (they're keying, but not saving, and lose data after session time out): The techniques discussed by Me, Peter and Bill work exactly as we thought, except for one little thing. The technique uses an empty page, in a hidden frame that refreshes itself based on timers and user activity (onblur) once every 3 or 4 minutes, keeping the session alive. if there is no activity, the hidden blank page doesn't refresh, and the session times out normally. The only problem is that when the hidden page refreshes, the main data entry frame loses focus. Can anyone help me with this anomaly? I don't want to lose focus on the main page, simply because the hidden one gets refreshed.
