I upgraded to Domino 6.5.1 this weekend and Trend 2.51 is working well. Below is what I sent to the list from a Trend support technician. Before that I would like to just express my frustration that beyond the public technote on the topic that Lotus Support is unwilling to help me get the IM integration working with Domino Web Access. The statement is that Sametime 3.1 isn't supported on Domino 6.5.1. The only thing that doesn't work is my DWA integration and they won't help me troubleshoot at all. Anyway, here is the response from Trend: Question: Regarding your question on "I am really wanting to update my Lotus server to 6.5 and I am having to wait on SM for LN v 2.6SP1? to be released for the AS/400". Answer: Yes, we are in the process of developong still SMLN 2.6 that would be able to fully support Domino 6.5. However, until it is released, here are the steps for Domino 6.5 to be used with SMLN 2.51 just in case you push through in upgrading to Domino 6.5: To use Domino 6.5 with SMLN 2.51 for AS/400: 1. Install Patch 3 for ScanMail for Lotus Notes 2.51 for AS/400 ( smln251_patch3_as400.zip) from ftp://ftp-download.trendmicro.com.ph/Groupware/SMLN/ Username: ftpuser Password: ftp-trend 2. Install ScanMail at the same location where Domino has been installed. 3. Verify that libnotes is in the "correct" place - /qsys.lib/qnotes.lib/libnotes.srvpgm Note: Do not use the new multi-version option. Under these conditions, SMLN 2.51 with Patch 3 for AS/400 should be compatible with Domino 6.5. sjones@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent by: domino400-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 02/23/2004 04:31 PM Please respond to Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 <domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc Subject ScanMail I know this has been discussed before here, but have not heard anything about it for a few weeks. Has TrendsMicro released a version of there product that will run under Domino 6.5.1? I just read a FAQ on Trends website that says 6.810 supports Domino 6.5.1 on all platforms, but I want to hear it from someone who is actually doing it :-) Thanks Steve Jones _______________________________________________ This is the Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 (Domino400) mailing list To post a message email: Domino400@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/domino400 or email: Domino400-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/domino400.
