someone mapped a drive and edited the file from Windows, you lost all your control characters. You can either edit it via Navigator and correct it or restore it from backup. I have a Domino server that is running QP that a certain consultant and a certain boss of mine have been messing with........ Currently, my notes.ini file looks like this...whether brought up by EDTF or Notepad... [Notes] Directory=/lotus/domino/jaguarqp KitType=2 NPN=1 Passthru_LogLevel=0 Console_LogLevel=2 VIEWIMP1=Lot ed T ex t,0,_ISTR,,.LTR,.CGN,.STR,,1, VIEWIMP3=Tabular WKS ,.WK 1,.W R1,.WRK,,4, VIEWEXP2=Structured Text,0,_ ,.TAB ,,1, E DITIMP 1=ASCII Text,0,_ITEXT,,.TXT,.PRN,. MP3=Lot us 1-2-3 ,0,_IW4W ,_IWKSE,.WKS,.WK1,.WR1,.WRK, IFF 5.0 I mage,0,_IT IFF,,.TIF, ,18, EDITIMP6=Lotus Am as opposed to.... [Notes] Directory=/lotus/ravenapp02 KitType=2 NPN=1 UNICODE_DISPLAY=1 NSF_HOOKS=QNNDIHK CleanupScriptPath=CALL QNOTES/NSD Passthru_LogLevel=0 Console_LogLevel=2 I'm thinking somebody may have edited the notes.ini file with a 'strange' editor. Has anyone had this happen and is there any way to fix it. My problem is that I don't know when the problem started and restoring an older version (that may be correct for editing) may not have some of the recent changes... Any thoughts?
