There are three things that typically effect your mail reception

1. What DNS MX records point to your server. This tells the internet
that mail for a specific domain gets delivered to a specific ip address.
2. What domains your mail is configured to accept mail for. I.e. even if
mail for @lotus.com is delivered to my server. This is typically set in
the Global Domain document, on the "Conversions" tab there is a field for
primary and alternate internet domains.
3. Is your mail server using local part of full name for mail delivery.
The default is both, which tells domino to first try and find an exact
match for the message (it looks up addresses in the ($USERS) view of the
nab). If it can't find an exact match, it then removes the domain name
and search the part to the left of the at sign.

To access the hidden view ($Users), hold down CTRL-SHFT while opening the
address book - it's very useful for troubleshooting problems with the
router.
