SMTP 501 Error

We had a user who was working fine and she HAD to get married ----

Now, when sending external email, it seems like nothing is going out ---
but not for policy reasons - one of the messages we're getting is:

Error transferring to mailin-02.mx.AOL.COM; SMTP Protocol Returned a
Permanent Error 501 SYNTAX ERROR IN PARAMETERS OR ARGUMENTS

No one else is having the problem.  SMTP inbound / outbound security is
allowed for both her old and new notes /  email addresses, both are listed
on her person record only her new internet address is listed on her mail
tab internet address.

I had her do a trace entire path and it is not getting out of our server -
no trace came back, the routing on the delivery failure report is
server,server

Any ideas?
