Notes may not do FTP directly, but you may be able to call your CL program
to do the FTP when you need to.

My problem, we have 2 As400 machines, 1 for production data and another for
backup and the Notes server.

In notes I have a e-mail adress where customer sends data as an TXT
attached
file. The file is automaticly detached and put in a folder.
It worked very well if the notes server was on the production machine.
But now it does not work anymore. A solution a bit complex but it worked :
i
check every 5 minutes de folder on the backup machine and if
there is a file, I ftp the file to the production machine. I made a Cl
program
for this, wich runs only on the backup machine.
My question, is there no possibility to perform FTP in Notes , so i can
just FTP
the file to the production machine?
I know FTP in notes is possible if the notes server is running on an NT
machine.
But on AS400 ?
