no,  Domino will only use 1.1.8, it will ignore the fact that 1.3 is
installed.

5722JV1   *BASE    2924    IBM Developer Kit for Java

5722JV1   4        5104    Java Developer Kit 1.1.8
and I need jdk 1.3 installed.

Is there any reason NOT to install 1.3?
