About once a month I get the following message when running the Update
Tasks agent.

"Notes error: Document has been deleted (($ToDo))"

After receiveing this error my Todos by due date view displays the contents
of my inbox. My other todo views operate correctly.
When I check my mail file in Designer the ($ToDo) view is still present and
refreshes to display todo items as expected.

To get the view to display the correct information and allow the Update
Tasks to run without out error I do the following.

Create a new local replica of my mail file.
Delete the server copy of my mail file.
Create a new server replica from the local replica.

This is a problem for other users besides myself who make use of the todo
feature of Notes.

We are running Domino 5.07 with clients at 5.09, but this has been
happening for over 12 months.
We have soft deletions turned on and a deleted documents view on our mail
files.
