Rob, The memory is completely isolated, This is why only one Domino server was affected, while your other servers continue to run correctly. The issue is a lack of tools to determine which memory segment is allocated to which Domino server. All the information is there, (each memory address is owned by a process, each process is owned by a server,) Today we don't have a tool to report which segments are owned by which server, We could go through each address and verify server owner but this would take a few days based on the number of addresses used on a given system. I am working on a tool that will dump memory addresses by SERVER NAME, rather than by process owner. This will allow support to clear memory for a specific server. (Not just memory but queues as well). I hope this helps. Memory leak. Got to bring down ALL servers, (or IPL), to fix it. They are supposed to be sending me steps to call special program after I bring down the rest of the partitions. Anyone else buy into the line about the AS/400 being so great with different subsystems etc?
