There is a setting in either the activity that will allow data to stay in the Notes document for accessibility via a view. Options, Data Storage should be set to Leave All RealTime Fields in Document However, the data will only be as current as the last time each document was opened and saved. This may be OK depending on how static your data is. Thanks, Dave Guerrero Team Leader e-Business Solutions Computech Resources, Inc. 1375 W. The ap simply displays records in a view, and allows the records (documents) to be updated in a form. Everything works like a champ. all records from the 400 file are displayed in the view. I can click on a record on the view and the document is opened for update. I can change certain fields on the form and click save/close and sure enough, the data is changed on the 400. The only problem is that all non-key fields go to blank in the view. I can still open the docs, and the data still exists in the form/document, the data still exists on the 400, it's just not in the view. the fields blanked out in the view are not the fields updated on the form. I've tried many combinations of decs activity setup, form and view settings, but I can't get this one thing to work right. any ideas? tia, rick _______________________________________________ This is the Lotus Domino on the iSeries / AS400 (DOMINO400) mailing list To post a message email: DOMINO400@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/domino400 or email: DOMINO400-request@midrange.com Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/domino400.
