We use Trend ScanMail for Notes. It has been very good product. Easy to
install and easy to get support. It is catching viruses daily on our system,
puts them into an archive on the IFS. It can notify the system operators, the
intended receivers and the sender. It has certainly raised awareness with the
PC Users to practice safe computing. We have Domino set up to automatically
get the virus updates daily. Check out www.antivirus.com

Good luck to you. Notes on the 400 seems logical to me. NT boxes crash all the
time. IBM Support has been great over the past year. Earlier IBM support was
not as good. We had a few issues that we could not tell if it was Domino or
AS400 OS.

Subject: Virus Protection

We are currently testing Domino (on the 400 of course) for an enterprise
mail and calendaring solution. I'm really wanting things to go well because
if it doesn't then we have to test exchange (and that means MS servers) and
also that I won't be the Notes Admin.

Anyway, I am very new to Domino and I have been asked about virus
protection. Could you guys and gals help me out? I just need to know if it
is something I have to enable or if there is a separate product/feature to
install.

Thanks for any help,
