If you utilize Domino Enterprise Connectivty Services (DECS), there is a technique that is described in the help that allows you to do realtime without having stubs all the time. DECS is free and is bundled into Domino (you just have to enable it). I would recommend using DECS since it is my belief that LEI will eventually drop support for real time connection since DECS will be built-in to RNext Designer. In a nutshell, the application asks for a key and then behind the scenes, it creates a document with that key and then opens it which triggers the realtime connection. When the user exits the document, the document is deleted or can be deleted later on with an agent. Thanks, Dave Guerrero Team Leader e-Business Solutions Computech Resources, Inc. 1375 W. I am successful in using direct transfer activities but wish to use RealTime activities. Specifically, I have a Notes application that needs customer order information from the ERP box. I want to be able to enter the order number in the Notes app and then, using Real Time, retrieve some information about the order from the ERP machine and populate fields in the Notes form. From reading the manuals I understand that I have to have 'stub' documents that contain the key value (in my case the order #) loaded in a form on Notes. We have hundreds of thousands of customer orders! I do not have space to have these stub documents on our Notes server. Is there a way I can access and retrieve the data without having these stub documents? Has anyone used Percussion's Notrix software? I understand it may be able to do this.
