After making these changes, did you bounce the Domino server?

Rob,

1) I am only running one partition.
2) I have it set to 80.
3) I have it set to 80 also.
4) a. yes
     b. yes
     c. yes, and it definately makes a hell of a difference.
5) yes, I have a host table entry.
6) I am using the native 400 http server also, but I have it going to port
8080 and it is up and running fine on that port.

Thanks,

1) Are you running 1, or more, partitions of Domino on your 400?
2) Under Server/Ports/Internet Ports/Web/ tcpip port number you have 80?
3) Under Server/Internet Protocols/Domino Web Engine/Port number do you
have Port number 80
4) Under Server/Internet Protocols/HTTP do you have:
     a) host name(s): myserver.mydomain.COM
     b) Bind to host name: Enabled
     c) DNS lookup: Disabled ->Not really part of this issue, but MAN
will this slow responses down if enabled!
5) Under CFGTCP on a 5250 session do you have
     a) 10. Work with TCP/IP host table entries: some ip address,
myserver.mydomain.COM
6) At the domino Console:
     a) Tell http quit
     b) wait
     c) load http
Repeat 2-6 for each Domino server partition. If you are also using 400
native http you'll have other considerations.

Hello,

I am running domino for AS/400 5.0.6a and have a question regarding the
http server. When we first setup the server we configured the domino http
server to use port 85, now we need to change it to port 80. I have changed
the server document and restarted the server. When I look at the domino
consle and do a show tasks the http task shows it is listening on port(s)
80, however, I know this is not the case because I can't get to any of our
databases unless I specify port 85 still. I took a look under netstat *cnn
and there is a port 85 running on the AS/400 in listen status with user of
QNOTES. I know it is not competing with the AS/400's web server because I
have it running on port 8080. I also checked the service table on the
AS/400 and there are no entries for port 85 in there either. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
