Lotus C API on the 400 -- DOMINO400

I want to create a ILE module (no main) full of procedures that call into 
the Lotus C API so that RPG can access Domino with a bit more ease.  I 
would like to dynamically bind this module to any potential calling 
programs where the module is NOT the program entry point.  Has anyone 
called into the C API without implementing NotesMain?  Any advice or 
tricks to invoking NotesInitExtended or clues as to which includes I need 
or need to avoid?
