Rob we created a file and a CL to do this. Made it easier to maintain and also meant that any servers that the developers might have been playing with were not included in our operational start/stop routines. Given the fact that you need only a 10 character name in the file and the CL to read a file and do a STR/ENDDOMSVR command is trivial this approach might be worth considering. JMHO CHeers Evan Harris >I am trying to read the list of Domino servers in order to bring them down >in an orderly fashion. This list is stored in the file: >/QIBM/UserData/LOTUS/LOTUS_SERVERS > >I looked at writing a RPGLE program to read it directly using techniques >from the 'Who Knew You Could Do That with RPG IV? - A Sorcerer's Guide to >System Access and More' redbook but I am in a bit of a time crunch. I also >looked at using CPYFRMSTMF or CPYFRMIMPF but I am obviously doing something >wrong. After letting CPYFRMSTMF run for 5 minutes I Sys-Req out of it. To >use the CPYFRMIMPF I am getting errors on the RCDDLM parameter.
