We are using clustering in two fashions. One is clustering between
partitioned servers on the same 400. Not LPAR's, just Domino partitions.
We also have a cluster between two different 400's. The only disgusting
thing about clustering is setting up the initial replications. You can't
just say 'Cluster all files in directory such and such between servers
SERVERA and SERVERB'. Instead you have to do a File, Replication, New
Replica for each file. And if you add a new person later on, you have to
do it again for that persons mail file. People have been known to write
utilities against the Cluster database directory to help achieve this.

Hello:

Anyone running clustering on the AS/400? We are looking at implementing a
clustered server and are looking for any information you may have on this.
We are currently running Domino on an AS/400 720-2062. We are looking to
cluster to a NT server for our mail only. We have approximately 150
mailboxes that will be clustered.

I received some info at Common and it looks pretty straight forward on
setting up the two servers. Anyone have suggestions on do's/dont's or
documentation to read before trying this?

Thanks for any input you may have

Steve Jones
