i don't know if this will help as we're on an NT platform, but we use the 
jt400.jar by putting an entry in the notes.ini file plus making sure all the 
path info is where it's supposed to be in NT.  i can dig through and find 
out more details if this will put you on the right path (it's been a long 
time since we set this up).
