  • Subject: Domino400 HTTP web engine cache configuration problem
  • From: Damien Mounier <dmounier@xxxxxxxxxx>

I'm runing a domino R5.0.1.02 on a V4R4 AS/400, I run the HTTP task of
the domino server.
The web access of the same domino database on the AS/400 takes more time
to load and refresh than on a NT machine runing an other domino server.

In my current document server, in the internet protocols/domino web
engine, the cahe directory field is set to 'domino\cache' and the
maximum cache size field is set to '50' (MB)
But In the AS/400 IFS, the cache directory does not exist.

When I use the domino command 'show statistic', there is no cache
related lines like on the NT server.
these lines:
domino.config.cache.directory
domino.config.cache.delete
domino.config.cache.size.max
are not displayed in the AS/400 domino console
Is the http cache aviable for domino/400 ?
If the HTTP cache is not supported by Domino for AS/400, this is why the
web access is slow.
is there anything to do to enable http cache one the domino web engine ?

thanks for help
